Games Ed #2
Legends of Learning
It’s time to learn new things! Sounds boring? Well, in the following blogspot I’ll be reviewing a game where you can learn more about your math topics you most struggles on and more things too. There are all sorts of games out there, but we usually mention those aggressive, competitive, board games, adventure, and more types of games. So we should also keep in mind those games that develops our knowledge which are not mentioned very often.
What is this game about?
In able to play, you must create your account which takes a few minutes and then you’ll be ready to start playing. You’ll have the opportunity to create your own character and give him/her a name out of the list of name options you are given.
You’ll encounter enemies where you’ll have to fight against them. To win a fight, you must answer some questions math related or it could also be other topics educationally related. After your answer is correct, you’ll be given 5 cards and earn some points. To use the cards, you must make use of the points you earn by answering the correct answers. The cards can give you the ability to attack your opponent or to defend yourself. Some cards require 1, 2 or more points in able to use them in battle.
After your battle against your enemy has finished, you are sent back to your headquarters or base.
Here at base, you’ll find an area where you can play mini games with related science and math topics from 6th grade to 9th grade. No worries, you can choose which grade you want to play the mini games. After you select the grade you are willing to play in, there will be a variety of topics you can choose to play. As you play more of these games, you can earn more experience and points.
Further on you’ll be able to earn more accessories for your character, such as: masks, hats, shoes, gloves, pants, shirts and more things. You can combine all the accessories and have fun experimenting with your character’s look.
How much can you learn from the game?
If you are still in middle school or high school, it can be very useful for your school topics mostly for math and science. You can learn many topics about physical science, earth science, life science, financial literacy, a huge variety of math topics and more. All of these done throughout the mini games provided in the game Legends of Learning.
My Personal Opinion
I consider this game very educative based on what I’ve experienced playing for a while. I didn’t manage to play much for now. There sure are a lot of mini games within Legends of Learning, so there is plenty to accomplish and learn about. It seems fun for those who are in between 6th and 10th grade, I recommended for those who lay in between that range. It doesn’t mean only they can play it, anyone can. It doesn’t fit me that much, now that I have other responsibilities and I have to do my work more seriously and I prefer to study with my methods. If I would've known earlier about this game, it could have been helpful for the topics seen at school. I rate this game a 7/10.
